The output of your towel rail element is controlled by the towel rail control plate. The towel rail element can be plugged directly into this bathroom control plate (IPX5 rated). 

This control offers five levels of control, ranging from 20% to 100%, as shown by the LED lights. The 2 hour boost function increases the element's power for 2 hours before returning to the prior level.
